Absolutely Brilliant. Contains everything it says on the cover. Total value for money. You won't be dissappointed. One of the best reads ever.
Anyone can do it.
The amazing story of an amazing man. This book gives you an insight as to what makes the Dragon tick, and tells you how he got there in his own words. It is as gritty and strong as the man himself. He doesnt glorify himself, or make excuses, he just tells it like it is. Did it change my life? no, but it made me admire him, and those who emulate his success. It shows what can be acheived when you truly believe in yourself, and are prepared to work for it. Nothing fell into Duncan Bannatyne's lap, he 'grafted' but he shows a softer and charitable side to his nature, and by the end of the book, you see the man behind the Dragon much more. It was a great read, I couldnt put it down once I started, and I felt glad I got to 'know' Mr Bannatyne as much as he allowed.
Very good read 
I really enjoyed this read. I have read many "my story" books and this was very interesting and informative. I was looking for a book that gives not only his history, but sheds some light on his rise. I was surprised to find a good balance of detail without it being longwinded.
I recommend this book to anyone who has watched Dragons Den and wonders what kind of a guy he really is, as well as anyone intersted in (another) wealthy mans rise to fortunes. I really enjoyed it.
A Top Class Read - Highly Recommended
I was recommended this book by 2 other business orientated friends and I'm so pleased I bought it.
There were lots of life lessons and words of wisdom.
I will reread again in the future.
A driven man
Clearly, Duncan has been hiding his softer side from us when we watch the Dragons Den. There, he comes across as calculating, and yet there is this softer side to him. I have certainly warmed to him and elevate him as one of the top money gurus of our day. The book however doe not delve into that side of things, and is more about the man behind the TV persona.
