fantastic
Lovely book, short and hits the nail at the point when needed, very precise and straight forward as well.
Another must read 
Richard is all about having 'fun'. He must be having lots of fun now being one of the richest in the UK.
Each chapter has a lesson of sorts at the start while he describes where he came from and how he got to be where he is now.
Another inspiring read that all wannabe entrepreneurs should read. People like Richard Branson don't say "what if..." they just do it, it will succeed and if it doesn't, move on, lesson learned.
A very nice and positive book but little tiring at the end
I think it is close enough to what I thought it was before I read it. There are some tiring pages where R.B. talks about his stories with balloons (maybe someone find these more interesting than I did though), but the whole idea is the same and I like that. It's a motivational book. If someone wants to do a business, I think this is one of the books that will boost him to do it. Thanks.
Not so great if you have just read the autobiography..
..which explains my point of view. Mr Branson is a BIG risk taker and built his fortune on it - a very hard blue-print to follow... He frankly reveals his life story in 'Losing My Virginity' which warrants 4 stars and is highly recommended.
This book cherry picks turning points in Branson's life and the lessons learned. These stories are all key moments effectively lifted from the autobiography but without the, "...and this is what I learned from it".
So, a good short cut if you haven't read Losing My Virginity but, if you have, the lessons are already there.. but without any prompting.
The book itself is a very short, quick, read.
Quick, easy and positive
If you're looking for an easy read that's not too heavy, full of information and a consistent underlying message then this is the book for you. Richard Branson comes across as fun and ambitious, and whilst this book lacks much of the detail that would probably make it a better read it does achieve everything it sets out to. It's not a 'how to' book by any means but does relay the important messages clearly enough. Even for a short book the price makes it excellent value.
