Word 2000 is so good that Microsoft should promise to keep it!
I bought the disk in panic because I had lost the original and was afraid that Word 2000 might be replaced as part of Windows 7, with no new disks eventually available.
Word 2000 Simply the best
Although my computer is very modern, all singing and dancing, after looking at my options for just word, reading feedback on updated versions most times this is the one that is deferred to as the best, I did my training with this version nine years ago, and found it easy to get along with, things got saved on a floppy disk then lol, its great, no problem with not being compatible, very happy to get it to be honest, there will not be many left soon.

Good old Microsoft Word
Microsoft word 2000 is the best version of word because it works on windows versions 95 to XP and is good for typing and spelling checks.
It is better than works because works does not offer a spelling check, does not have good clip art and word art is bad. So if you have not got Microsoft word or got an older version such as word 97 you should buy or upgrade today it is a good buy.
Word 2000 is still the cornerstone of wordprocessing
Word 2000 is still one of the best word processors on the market, their is nothing more to say that if you buy a computer, the second thing to get is a decent word processor. Hands down Word 2000 is a must.
