Seems to do a job.
Got a couple of these and they seem to work fine, although I suppose you can't really tell until you have had a power surge and your equipment emerges unscathed.
Not just a great product - great after sales service too. 
I couldn't agree more with what most of the other reviewers are saying about this truly excellent product. But what has convinced me to buy more Belkin products in future is their excellent after-sales service. In an age when most other manufacturers seem to think that their service commitments finish with the selling of their products, Belkin's customer care and after-sales service are nothing short of FANTASTIC!
Protected Kit
Having just spent around £1500 upgrading my TV , sky HD box and home cinema it would have been crazy not to get greater peace of mind and this unit fitted the bill.

Belkin surge protector,
I first decided to buy this product after a friend told me of the danger towards my pc should their be a power surge, since buying it i have had 2 pc's connected to it, 2 monitors a stereo and an external hard drive, i monitor my electric usage and since having this product and turning it off every night i am saving around £4 per week, because there is a switch on the surge protector i just flick it off at night, and we have had several storms since i bought it, i have piece of mind knowing that belkin issue a gaurantee with every surge protector of this kind, that should anything upto the value of 75000 break it will be replaced.
Surge protector
Bought a few of these as I had an old TV die due to the electric supply flickering on/off during a thunderstorm. These should rectify the problem. Lots of types of sockets, well made, good product.
