Customer Reviews:
The Secret REALLY WORKS!!!!!!
This film changed my life for the better.

The fact (explained by Bob Proctor early on in the film) is that whether you understand them or not, if you apply the principles of The Secret (aka The Law of Attraction), they work. Period!

Try this, you won't regret it!!!

Thoughts become things!!!!

Thoughts about The Secret DVD

The Secret DVD is a wonderful kick start to speed up the energy for positive change in your life. The underlying spiritual message comes across more clearly perhaps on the CD but this DVD is a visual feast of uplifting and often humourous images which help when visualising the changes you may want to bring about in yourself and your environment. Ask, believe and receive are the three main steps that are clearly set out and explained. Enjoy, go forth and .........................!

Great DVD!
I first saw the Secret a couple of years ago. After damaging my original copy I thought I'd order another. After watching it, I was quite surprised to see that it has changed from the first edition. I really like listening to Esther Hicks, but unfortunately for some reason she has been replaced by Marci Shimoff. However, the information remains the same, just presented slightly differently. For anyone who hasn't seen the Secret before, in a nutshell its basically about how we attract people and circumstances into our lives through the thoughts that we think and the emotions that we feel. It is not a film as such but more of a documentary type format. It is very well put together though and by no means boring. Just watch it with an open mind! Highly recommended:)

The secret. A universal gift
This item is very enlightening. If you are feeling down, and can't see anything positive ahead of you, and are able to recognise that you are expressing, or thinking negativity? then, this may help you...

Who knows what will happen for an individual, but, only the individual can give it a go....

I am a positive person anyway, and this gift really inspires and enlightens me everytime I see it..

I must say that once watched, you have to live it....

A beneficial item.....

Forgivingly Deceitful
Hope is a beautiful thing to have; we must all work towards fostering it and keeping it in our hearts despites all the dificulties we may encounter in our lives. This, in a sentence, is the essential message of this DVD.

It is easy to be taken by emotion after watching "The Secret" and to consider all problems solved. The reality of the matter is that it is deceitful. There is no scientific backing to what is taught, and the mere fact that a collection of high figures back the message does not make it any more valid. Indeed, just because 1 million copies of X product are sold, doesn't mean the product is any good. It only means that there are 1 million people willing to fall for a trend. The trend in question is upheld by the vigorous elation one feels after viewing. The worst is that the euphoric state is then communicated by the said viewers to others. The result is that the movie spreads like wildfire on fuels of hope.

The film is dramatized and sets itself up as liberator of the masses from the evil grasps of the "secret groups" that tried to keep the secret away from us for so long. It fails to mention who did so, for what motive, when and in what context ; but the urgency in the emotion of the message sets an alarm in the mind of the viewer that forces his/her attention. Do not fall for the trap. Listen objectively to what is said and realize for yourself the lack of logic in what is being taught.

That said, the mind does have power. When one hopes/prays/dreams/wishes one fuels oneself with the energy required to materialize one's objective by making the objective more real in one's mind. Ideas first exist in one's mind after all before it is implemented in reality. Its a reminder if you will that all is never lost and one can always muster the required efforts to achieve the bigger goal through many smaller goals ; but only under the condition of being emotionally, and psychologically strong. The strength is only required to face the difficulties life throws at us.

"The Secret" circumvents the condition of " mind" strength and as such appeals to people more than the idea of working. Yet the idea of work is indirectly present, in the form of "hobby" or "devotion to one's passion" if you will.

In the end, this book/movie is not for the realist/cynic. It will aggravate the people of this group for its lack of logic. Yet is very useful and inspirational for the dreamer/optimist or the emotionally fatigued. It is good at reinvigorating the soul of those that need it.
