XP Home on my MBP
I bought this with VMware Fusion 3, so I could run some of my needed windows programs on my Macbook Pro. It installed fine, activation was fine, and now all seems to be working well. I had no problems with the product key or activation, as some people have, but I did not install this on my bootcamp partition, just straight into VMware - so there was no issue of trying to activate the same software twice.

Only bought this for my new Mac because I have one or two progs that only run under Windows.
uninstall w7??? 
I would like to uninstall W7 from my new laptop and install the xp oem. I have very little experience of this sort of task.
Any suggestions. Alan.

The software was as advertised, not more can be said for it really, its an OS.
XP Rules - R.I.P Vista
As the title suggests, XP works!
Had Vista pre-installed on my Acer Aspire 9300 and it's been the most awful experience of technology EVER.
It had Blue screen at least once a day, was slow, had a mind of its own and made me break a key from sheer frustration after hitting it (and throwing it across the room).
Do you really want so much trouble just to do a fancy scroll between screens and have a fancy clock.
XP is stable, easy, reliable and doesn't eat up your computers resources just to operate.
Installed easily on my laptop and now it works like a dream, If only everything was this simple.
Whoever was in charge for Vista development should be sacked or shot (whatever the cheapest).
