Very pleased with the 530go,have had this product for about 6wks,
no probs picking up or losing signal,longest I've had to wait on
starting up is 2minutes to find signal,have got a"works" tomtom 1
which is always losing signal and can wait up to 15 minutes to retrieve
the only moan I have is that the sound on the 530 could be louder,a bit
quite and tinny,but would definetly buy again.
Tom Tom Go 530
Having never used satnav before I found this product real easy to set up and start to use. I have used it several times now and have no complaints. The windscreen attachment works just fine and the touch screen is easy to read and use.
The one to have. 
I have owned the TomTom GO 720 for some time now and decided to buy my partner a TomTom Sat Nav for her birthday. As she doesn't need the European maps the GO 530 seemed a good choice. I looked carefully at the reviews of the next one up, the one that has the 'Live' function. As this carries a monthly subscription and also received very poor reviews with respect to computer compatabilty issues I decided that this would not be suitable. The Go 530 is a small step up from my Go 720 but is just as easy to use. For both my GO 720 and her GO 530 we are very pleased. I would have to say that for the majority of users driving in Britain the GO 530 is certainly the one to have. Give the 530 a miss now there are better units 
I have this for quite a while paid a lot for it when it was first out. I have enjoyed playing with this unit which is my second sat nav bought as my Garmin kept crashing. Supplied Mount is cheap and kept falling off the screen. Quite off putting up to dangerous at times. I had to buy an aftermarket mount which has never fallen off. Maps are still not updated of a new major road near me. IQ is not what it says, it always steers me the longest way to the fastest road near me. I thought it would "Learn" that I always start my journey this way and I prefer this route.
If you select "Find alternative" it does not just alter the first part but all of your trip. I now ignaw the first part of a trip so as not to confuse it later as it will send me down tiny single track roads for miles.
Latest surprise is that it will not Bluetooth connect to my new phone. I thought bluetooth was bluetooth but here is a list of compatible phones it will connect to. Worst now is no Euro maps and the high cost of adding them. I would rather buy another unit now than add maps to this tomtom Go 530. You now have more choice than I had when I bought this so give this TomTom Go 530 a miss, get a better unit with Euro wide mapping and save some money as well.

Very good I have had 3 tomtom's all very good but this is 5 star, easy to use big display easy to fit on its stand, just what a 64 year old needs no complications
