I have been using MSfs since the start and have progressed through ever faster computers and more complex graphics. The current one ( I have FX Gold) has a good variety of challenges.
The add ons and extras obtainable online are plentiful. Considering the price of an arcade game versus this product there is no comparison regarding value for money. PS. I inherited a Q6600
CPU and a 275 graphic card from the kid's rig and it copes admirably.

AWESOME!
I have had FS 98 for years but my PC wasn't quite up to it. When I upgraded the PC I decided to splash out on a new FS and a new 'Black Widow' joystick (my old one was A/L and my new PC had no A/L slot!).

What a combination! The new FS is a quantum leap from 98 and the joystick is it's perfect companion. I thoroughly recommend both.

GRAPHICS VERY GOOD OVERALL GAME PLAY VERY REALISTIC RECCOMMENDED FOR NOVICES AND THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR MORE ENHANCED FLIGHT TOOLS.

Must have flight sim
A few years old now but still the best all-round flight sim available. Think of this not as a finished article but as the starting point for a whole world of sim fun. The addon community is huge and with a little work you can transform this into your sim. Anything you want from biplane pioneer, through Spitfire pilot, to classic airliners or modern jets.

Th only reason it didn't get five stars is that some of the addons (decent scenery, clouds etc.) are so good you wonder why M$ couldn't include them from the start.
