Purchased for my 16 year old daugther and does everything it claims to do - very good machine
It developed a common fault after a month 
We bought it, we loved it, maybe the keypad was a bit iffy. Then after 5 or 6 weeks it developed a very annoying fault a flickering white screen. Too late to return it for a refund, so now it has to be repaired. IMHO frankly not good enough.
Excellent netbook
I chose this particular netbook because of its good reviews and I have not been disappointed. It is well designed and has a very good battery life. It's excellent and I have no criticism of it at all.

DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. BATTERY LASTS AND LASTS. KEYBOARD EXCELLENT. STORAGE GENEROUS. SCREEN BIG ENOUGH TO USE EASILY. RAM SUFFICIENT. MY OWN PROGRAMS LOADED FROM USB KEY. HOME NETWORK TO MY MAIN PC EASILY SETUP (DONT FORGET TO SET FILES TO BE SHARED).XP THE BEST OPERATING SYSTEM SO FAR.
What a great little machine!
I'd been wanting a light-weight laptop for doing "easy" PC work for a long time - for reading emails, working on a web client called Confluence, writing documents; documentation work with a little bit of simple graphics thrown in.
This machine is perfect for that. It weighs hardly anything, so it's easy to carry back & forth to work (and use on the train). It's fast to boot up, the keyboard is big enough to actually use. It has a nice bright screen and it's quick. The battery life is outstanding.
I'm making a big effort to make sure it remains quick. I have been very careful about what I install it on it - I use open source Java apps like Open office org instead of Microsoft Office, Gimp instead of Photoshop, and so on.
I don't know if it would be so wonderful if I treated it like a normal laptop and loaded it down with all the usual gumpf, but for what I use it for, it's perfect.
