This was added as a second hard drive and seems to be working fine. The plan is to use it as my main storage drive, but I have not transfered everything onto it yet, so I do not know its full potential. It operates very quietly.
Seagate 500GB HDD 
This product overall is a brilliant device. The only problem i had with this device is the one that i had origianally recieved was faulty because the HDD was clicking all the time. I contacted Amazon and they replaced the item straight away and the device i have now is fantastic.
Does what it is meant to!
Very good drive - only problem I had is that it was thinner than the spare bay in my (Medion) PC, and as there were only fixing holes available on one side, packing had to be used in the space on the other side. This does not detract from the five star rating, however.
So quiet
This is such good value as it's twice the size i really need as i also use an external 300GB hard drive which is already more than enough; but for the very reasonable price this extra internal HD space doesn't hurt and i have already partitioned it in preparation for a second OS. What really surprised me about it is that it is so quiet. Once i had got my head around the SATA connection, i feel that i can now appreciate it. I find that i have absolute confidence in its stability and quality. The postage and packing was fine; I couldn't have asked for better service!

An excellent hard drive, easy to install and set up thanks to Seagates Disk wizard, which can do all the copying and backing up of system files you require.
Very quiet,plus its built in guarantee - all in all I would recommend this hard drive
