A great machine, works out of the box and has a neat small remote. I can't compare picture quality as I only have one TV! But it looks pretty good
The gloss surround is very smart - thouigh shows up dust quickly. The picture quality when looking at films, even with a normal DVD is superb. Just watched Australia - epic scenery well shown up by the Bravia.
The only grip I have is that it doesn't seem to change ratio automatically like my previous Sony 24 inch CRT TV, which hopped from widescreen to 4:3 by itself without any problem when I went through the channels. Either this one doesn't or it's too hard to find out how to make it
Amazing HD but great for Freeview too 
I wanted a TV that would offer fantastic gaming and Blue-Ray in HD through my PS3 but also get the most out of Freeview. I'm not yet ready to go all out for cable, Sky or FreeSat, so in the end I was sold, not by the great colours and quality picture but by the ability to upscale my analogue Freeview picture. Even TV's like the Toshiba Regza that claim to have a 'technology' that upscales Freeview were no match for the BRAVIA Engine - even on an often poor channel 5 signal.
I didn't buy through Amazon in the end, but this is a great price. A word of warning for John Lewis customers - this is the same model as the KDL32W7810 (just check out the spec on the Sony site). Yet JL want £699. I questioned this based on their customer price promise, but they claimed they are tied by Sony to offer a 'different' model (Mmmmn - likely story).

I think this is a great TV. Full of features with fantastic picture quality and overall build quality is great too.

WOW!
This Tv ordered sunday arrived Wednesday. Why did I wait so long before buying a LCD TV.
After a bit of adjusting and setting up, pictures in SD are amazing on both freeview and freesat (Humax freesat box). Watched a wildlife documentary on BBC HD on Friday was blown away by the picture quality. Thoroughly reccommend this TV for picture.
Plugged my mp3 player into usb port and Tv recognised it and played tracks on it, tried a Panasonic camera next, no problem recognised camera and started a slide show of pix on camera card. Sound is just great from tv`s own speakers. More than enough inputs for scart and hdmi.
Dont hesitate buy this asap.
