I purchased this for my mother in law , who can be quite critical.She has given it the "grey" seal of approval as being stylish , crisp picture , great sound , and great value for money.The auto tuning worked well , and the tv was up and running in minutes.She also liked the remote control which was easy to use and understand , which can be very important for elderly people.
A lot of people will be upgrading their tv in the near future , with the digital revolution now in full swing , and for anyone on a budget , this would be a great buy !
A gift that went down well
First, the delivery: the TV arrived 2 days before the predicted dispatch date!
It was a gift for my parents, in their mid-80s, to replace an ageing 26" Sony CRT TV. Apparently, it was relatively easy for them to fix the stand and tune in all the channels, which is a big recommendation for the Samsung as they are not at all technically sophisticated (my parents, not the TV).
Picture is superior to old TV, colours far richer, and am told the whole viewing experience is a delight. The remote is intuitive because of its shape, and the buttons a reasonable size for those of us far-from-perfect vision.

I've had my TV for three weeks and am very happy so far.
Delivery was excellent and on time. It was very easy to set up and the picture / sound quality is great.
Sometimes have slight problems with reception, but I think that is more to do with my location than the TV itself.

Received today Rapid delivery and first class service as usual from Amazon, For the price very very good, crisp picture good sound and easy set up, it is our first flat screen and as we live in a small cottage it is ideal, as too big a set would have seemed vulgar, there is enough connections on the tv for most people, so as an all rounder a very good buy, ps I did think of buying from Dixsons but just have a little search on line then decide, just don't.
