Really great phones
After reading other reports I purchased the phones. They did everything I needed.
One small point however is that the answerphone does not have a bleep to say there is a message. This would be helpful as the main phone is in the office and i need to go there to see if there are any messages.

Pleased with product. It was on offer at a good price. Very easy to install and set up and looks smart. Display easy to read. Numbers clear and large enough for less nimble fingers. Quick dial facility is excellent.
As other reviewers have commented, it is a bit on the quiet side: both ringing and listening to calls. Slightly irritated by the need to press the call button after lifting reciever to answer call. Still, a good buy and massive improvement on the last telephone and answering machine we had.
Nice piece of kit!
This product is loaded with features, most of which are very useful indeed, particularly so, to the older generation, perhaps. At the onset, I found setting everything up a little bit difficult, mainly from what I percieve to be the disorderly arrangement of the instruction manual. It is all there, but you have to hunt around for it! A very flexible unit, this can be made to ring loud, soft etc and the number of rings can be extended (very useful if you have distance to cover to get to the unit). The tones that can be used for the rings are many and varied but it must be said that if you change one, make sure you change them all to the one chosen - several different types of ringing going on just becomes a dreadful cocophany! Of considerable help is that the display is large and bright but can be dimmed or put out altogether if needed (if one handset is in the bedroom, for example) and also holds the time and date in large clear characters, so this doubles up as an instantly available clock and calendar in many respects. The voice reception is perfectly good and much as one hears from most other phones - the volume of this reception can be altered as needed. I have not experienced and problems with reception at a distance. I think my only real gripe about this product is the lack of flexibility in terms of locating the master unit - it cannot be secured to a wall. There is no reference to this anywhere and it has to be assumed from the pictures that this cannot be wall-mounted! However, overall this is a very good purchase and both my wife and I are very pleased with it.
