Firrst class
Because I'm somewhat hard of hearing, I have found a Dect phone that satisfy me. This phone is a Panasonic TG642ES digital cordless. Three previous Dect phones were all BT's. To the hard of hearing they were not up to standard.
cordless telephone set
Very satisfied with this product. Looks good, easy to set up. As I am partly deaf the excellent volume control enables me to hear conversations clearly. Does exactly as it says on the box.
Very good value 
This is very good value for money. The most important thing, sound quality, is excellent, both on phone and answer-phone. The handset is comfortable in the hand, big enough to hold and operate the buttons, but not too big. Having four is a big asset - one in the hall, one by the pc, one in the bedroom and one in the workshop. Wall-mouning gives a neat result. It is a good idea to write the location on the handset! The display is easy to read.
Most of the operations are intuitive once the basics are learnt, although some things need to be looked up. Stand-by duration is very good. The batteries are standard AAA rechargeable so will not be expensive to replace.
Why only four stars? The flashing light to show a message awaits is not very obvious; plus the ring-tones are not much to my taste & I cannot find a standard telephone ring in there. But no doubt I will get used to the one I have chosen.
Panasonic phones
Well it is a phone but a good set of 4. Easy to set up, never had a home phone with stored numbers on before. There is plenty of room on the display to be able to record which is a home and which is a mobile number next to each name and then send this data to every other phone as well. It even works well, recommended.
A good telephone set!
Purchased this product recently, and found it easy to instal, easy to operate, and easy to store useful telephone numbers. I like the fact that the numbers are on display on the screen in 'large type'. I am very pleased with this product, although I do wish that the answerphone had a beep type signal when a message has been left, but this is only a small niggle.
