Where have I been?
OMG! Where have I been. This band are excellent, and so is this album. I don't know about the earlier albums as this is my introduction to Riverside. At first, I must admit i was a bit put off by the comparisons to Pink floyd. i thought that this was going to be a bit of the same old proggy stuff that you hear. How wrong was I? The album is a breath of fresh air. it mixes all sorts of influences, throws them in a pot and comes out with something totally fresh. now i have read the debates that they sound like they have some pink floyd/opeth influences, but for me i picked out Hawkwind and ozrics type riffs, a bit of jethro tull (if you think what is this guy on, just listen!) on left out. I mean there are obvious metaly influences that you can throw in for the laugh, but basically it is an album that i would strongly recommend buying!
Fantastic Progressive Rock 
This has to be my favourite album of the year. I've never heard of 'Riverside' before listening to this album and now I'm completely blown away. They have the perfect mix of the light and heavy. Can't recommend this album enough to any progressive fans out there!
A big let-down 
Sadly, I have to agree with the minority of reviewers that have given ADHD a 2-Star rating. Ever since Riverside released Out of Myself I have eagerly awaited (and bought) each new release. While SLS and REM were both excellent offerings, this latest release is a big step backwards for the band. The whole thing is just to "thrash" and has no subtelty at all, making the listening experience a painful one for me. There also seems to be some rehashing of old ideas on this CD too, inexcusable on such a short album. I won't give up on Riverside just yet but in future I will make sure I listen before I buy !!

This is the best CD i've listened to in Years. Also I myself was present at the gig in Paradiso so this makes it very special to me!
Best album yet
Despite Riverside's brilliant past, this is, in my opinion, their best album so far.
They have become heavier and more urgent and the music is more spontanious and suprising.
Influences are still clear but the quality of the music here speaks for itself.
I understand why some fans are disappointed at the change in sound but i think they have opened the door to a much larger fan base with this superb album.
Highly recommended to all prog fans. And fans of Tool!
