does what it says on the tin, I can't say I like windows vista but thats the only gripe.
Birthday Present
I bought the laptop for my wifes birthday present. It needed to be have fairly large screen, wifi & cheap. This machine is ideal for a person who does not need all the fancy bits a pieces. My wife is now surfing the net, shopping and playing cards. Just the job

Very happy with this laptop, it's our first so not much experience with laptops but it does everything we want of it and does it quick. One slight drawback, it's pretty heavy.
Extraordinarily good value
It may not have a massive disk or super-fast CPU, but if you are not storing hundreds of movies or lots of music, and if you are not playing processor-hungry apps or games, then this machine is an excellent choice. From experience so far, it is well-made and well-configured (and personally I do not like an overload of special function buttons or too much software piled on to the machine, with irritating message boxes popping up asking you to use it - and this laptop is largely free of both). All in all, an astonishingly good deal for the price.
Faulty in 15 minutes 
Cheap as this was I was not expecting much. Initally pleasantly surprised, generally looked ok. Alas within fifteen minutes, as I was burning the system restore dvds, the disc drive just stopped working. Sent back for refund.
