Incompatible with computer
I had to return the item as it was not compatible with my computer. Still awaiting refund.
It should have been made clear at the outset that there were limitations.
Easy to use and install
Was looking for an antivirus that did not slow my fairly old laptop, and was easy to use. This programme was recommended to me by a number of IT technicians and shops.Pleased so far,it does exactly what it says on the packet, easy to install and use and apart from when updating does not seem to greatly effect performance with the machine marginally slower whilst updating.
Great product 
I've used Kaspersky for a few years now, primarily because it always comes out top or in the top three of any AV group test. That, after all, is all I want from an AV product. Prior to Kaspersky I had tried McAfee, AVG, and a few others. Of those, only Mcafee was any good, but that became too bloated. I recently upgraded to 2010 and the first thing I noticed was the swanky interface. Why they bother I have no idea, but it certainly looks pretty.
The best anti-virus protection is your own common sense, with that in mind I turned off the HTTP tracking, so have not experienced any of the problems people mention here. Even before I turned it off though, I didn't notice any slowdown, but perhaps the sites I look at are just too boring?
I don't like the all-in-one security products. They clog up your system and to be frank, most of the services they provide can be done on your router. So free up your PC resources and put your router to good use folks!
Best of all though, I can see this working. It reported an application I was running because it was "suspicious" and possibly a key logger. It was in fact a key logger I was testing, so I know it works!
Oh, if you need a 5 user license you can get it from the Kaspersky website, and if you do a google you will find a 40% price reduction, which was working a month ago so should still be ok now.
kaspersky anti virus
this is my second kaspersky anti virus, i have not had any problems with it, its very easy to use.
It ticks all the boxes...
I've purchased this product about a month ago, as my PC has previously been protected by Kaspersky.
This was the first time a licence has expired since I've became in charge of all the IT requirements in my household (due to the separation), and I did not feel like changing a winning horse, and spending hours researching for a different product. I couldn't have made a better decision!
As I'm not an IT wizard, I would not want to go into too many details about the technical specification, but more to reassure likewise IT novices. Installation was straightforward and quick, and the new version window gives you every single info you might need to know. It works quietly, and efficiently, and, at the fantastic price as it is at Amazon, I would recommend it to all of my girlfriends.
